The Moore Foundation was created in the early nineteen sixties as a private family foundation in Indianapolis, Indiana by the late Frank M. Moore, co-founder of College University Corporation. Also known as College Life– they sold insurance policies to young folks in college.

Mr. Moore was committed to the principles of sound education, moral and spiritual values, and to maintaining a strong America for freedom and democracy which would be an example to other peoples and nations.

The Moore Foundation realized that needs and attitudes may change, but the basic principle of free democratic society that relies on the belief in a loving, caring God must be preserved, trusted and used to address the problems of contemporary society.
