How is the Servant Leadership Program funded?

The Barney II Foundation and the Moore Foundation are collaborating to provide funding for the program. The presidents feel there is ample recognition for academic and athletic achievement, but there are few programs that recognize good students who reach out to fellow human beings in compassionate service. Both foundations hold Christian core values as important elements of their funding philosophy.

What are the criteria for the program?

All juniors going into their senior year are eligible

Students are selected by their faculty and peers

How are the grants awarded?

Awards are usually presented in the fall of the recipient's senior year or spring of their junior year. Upon notification of selection, the recipient will designate a charity to receive a portion of their award.

Each student Leader receives a Max Greiner designed statue called Divine Servant.

Recipients are guests will be honored at a reception following the award ceremony.
